Applicants for this course must have a bachelor's degree qualification.
Admission to this course is competitive. Applications will be assessed on the basis of academic merit and the number of available places.
Assumed knowledge
Students are expected to have basic competency in understanding of bio-statistical concepts.
- Demonstrate specialised knowledge and skills in the practice of public health.
- Interpret, critically analyse and evaluate recent developments and research principles and methods applicable to public health.
- Apply an advanced and integrated understanding of the complex body of knowledge associated with contemporary and emerging local and global public health issues.
- Apply advanced knowledge and skills in interdisciplinary approaches to public health.
- Plan, design, execute and evaluate public health interventions and research projects.
- Interpret, critically analyse and communicate public health information.
